Engage Leadership assignments have come mainly as a result of successful marketing by the CEO, and from client referrals. A number of client engagements have been through organisations such as Deloitte.
Engage Leadership CEO George Mc Namara has held senior positions in two multi-national organisations Ericsson and Jabil Circuit, and has a considerable track record of achievement in both.
George was part of the Jabil Circuit team responsible for the acquisition and merger of Marconi Corporation plants in the U.K. and Italy. He subsequently was responsible for the management of the business unit in Marcianise, Caserta Italy for Jabil Circuit.
He was also responsible for starting up and successfully operating a subsidiary in Dublin, eventually employing 40 personnel, for Glastron Inc., New Jersey, USA. Glastron Inc. manufactured a range of precision glassware and electronic components for healthcare equipment. The main customer was Bayer Diagnostics Manufacturing.
George has designed his own product invention, and successfully marketed it in the United States.
George is a graduate in Sociological & Political Studies from NUI Galway. He was a member of the EC-supported Industrial Development Program, a joint initiative between five universities in the north and south of Ireland.
In 2002 he participated in the Executive Development Program at the Irish Management Institute in Dublin.
George has proven experience in leading change, and solving client’s problems. Success is achieved through encouraging, challenging and supporting management teams in resolving operational, personnel and business development issues.
